Together with Dutch Sommelier Champion 2018-2019 Lendl Mijnhijmer (sommelier Bougainville at QL's TwentySeven) and Tom Versantvoort (brandmanager Verbunt Verlinden), founder Hein van Beek went to Graham's Port (Porto, Portugal). During this great trip a brand new story will be made for the next QL Magazine that will be published in June!
During the second day of an amazing trip they visited the Douro river (the Golden River). Not only did they taste delicious Ports of Graham's Port, they could also enjoy the wonderful views of this beautiful region.
White port with tonic as an aperitif, could be the summerhit of 2019! At the tasting, there was an exclusively (first time) taste of the Graham's Port Vintage 2017! At Quinta de Roriz a lunch and tasting with Chryseia, Post Scriptum and Prazo de Roriz, the top red wines of the Douro region.
