Auberge De Campveerse Toren is a city inn from the year 1400. Willem of Orange and Charlotte de Bourbon held their wedding banquet here in 1575. The tower is located in the old fortified town of Veere and offers a unique view over Lake Veere. Those fond of art and antiques will definitely like what they find here. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, many of which feature seafood. During the season (April 1 - July 15) Lobster from the Oosterschelde is on the menu. The view over the lake (Veerse Meer) is wonderful.

The terrace, paved with original cobblestones, is situated next to the hotel’s entrance. Here you can enjoy a drink or a light meal.
In the hotel you can sign up for a walk through Veere with a city guide. In the vicinity of the hotel is an equestrian and hiking trails are located. A boat is for rent and in front of the hotel is a boat for a cruise on Lake Veere. The lake is suitable for swimming.
The hotel is situated on the banks of Lake Veere and its marina. Veere is a beautifully preserved old town, but is not the only attraction the Walcheren peninsula has to offer. The historic and romantic town of Middelburg is definitely worth a visit. A trip to the Oosterschelde dam and its work station Neeltje Jans is highly recommended. Walcheren also has many sea-side resorts with beautiful beaches.
