Experience the rich country life in Twente
Landhuishotel De Bloemenbeek is on a 12 acre estate on the rippling brook Bloemenbeek in the gently sloping Dinkel valley. It is a fantastic place to personally experience the wonderful legacy of the textile manufacturers of past times and the rich country life of today.
The Bloemenbeek is a tasteful boutique hotel with history, style and allure. Most suites have their own terrace with a view of the theatrical landscape. Five suites are deemed ‘Grand’ as they have - in addition to sleeping quarters - a magnificent living area with sofa, armchairs and writing desks.
The Manor Hotel’s grounds include a beautifully laid out restaurant garden and terraces, a romantic inner courtyard bordered by plane trees, a kitchen garden, environmental-friendly ornamental ponds, works of art and mature fruit trees. You will also find beehives from local beekeepers on the estate.
In the World of Wellness & Beauty with its swimming pool, sauna, steam bath and tepidarium all senses are stimulated and relaxation is assured. You can also make reservations for treatments.
Restaurant The restaurant Bloemenbeek has managed to keep its Michelin star for over ten years and is a member of the Alliance Gastronomique. The kitchen brigade, led by SVH Master Chef Michel van Riswijk and chef de cuisine Matthijs Mulder, is based on French Mediterranean cuisine and botanical gastronomy. The most beautiful wines from all over the world and even from the own estate provide excellent wine pairing. The season brings the finest products such as game from hunters from Twente and crops from the greenhouse, from the herb garden or picked on Bloemenbeek's edible estate. The motto 'Taste the region in all its facets' is followed here with verve and sustainability.
Setting The hotel’s surroundings are ideal for bicycle and walking trips. Most tracks lead you across the Lutterse Bergen, small hillocks dating back from the last Ice Age. The most known are the Tankenberg (85m) and the Paasberg, the Hakenberg and the Austieberg. Well worth a visit is the Arboretum Poortbulten with hundreds of different species of trees and the Lutterzand, a nature reserve with sand dunes close to the river Dinkel.
