Hof zur Linde

In the midst of greenery

Hotel Hof zur Linde

At the foot of the tower of Münster, surrounded by lush greenery is the romantic Hotel Hof zur Linde, rooted in the tradition of Westphalia. The third generation is now at the helm of this family hotel, which has grown into a renowned Country Manor Hotel. The building dates from 1648. The romantic interior contains antique and contemporary furniture. The individually furnished rooms vary from a small double room with French bed, to a suite with private balcony or terrace, or a suite with a fireplace or a spa-junior suite with a sauna and whirlpool. Hof zur Linde offers an oasis of tranquillity for those who want to get away hustle and bustle of everyday life to relax in nature.

The heart of the hotel

Restaurant Linnenboom

The cuisine at Hotel Hof zur Linde is fresh and high quality. They get their herbs from their own garden. Restaurant Linnenboom has various dining rooms. The menu is the same throughout the hotel. The main dining room is the ‘Herdfeuerraum’, in the heart of the hotel, dating back to the 17th century. The ‘Jagdzimmer’, the ‘Westfalenstube’, the ‘Bisschoppinck-stube’ and the ‘von Renesse-stube’ are also available. The last three dining rooms offer lovely views over the river Werse. The bar is located in the farmstead’s old part. The open fireplace and country style furnishings create a relaxed atmosphere. Carefully selected wines and many types of ale are served here.

REVIEWS

"This restaurant is typically Westphalian. The "Herdfeuerraum" (fireplace room) from 1648 with its open fire and all kinds of country-style decoration has bags of rustic charm. The regional and seasonal food is replete with international and Mediterranean influences."
